President Obama to Address Disabled American Veterans National Convention
The Disabled American Veterans will once again convene its national body to address the needs of disabled veterans, including those who have served and sacrificed in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere when the organization meets at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta for its 89th National Convention July 31 through Aug. 3.

VA Eases PTSD Claim Requirements
“These regulations take a tremendous burden off the shoulders of veterans who’ve suffered psychological trauma as a result of their military service,” said DAV National Adjutant Arthur H. Wilson. “It’s a very positive step and a sign that our government is beginning to recognize the impact that ‘invisible’ wounds such as PTSD have in the lives of the women and men who have served our nation.”
